Martin Luther "The King" Jr
We celebrate Black History with MLK or as in the classic movie Coming To America, Dr. Martin Luther "The King" Jr.
Martin Luther King Jr. (born Michael King Jr.; January 15, 1929 – April 4, 1968) was an American Baptist clergyman and activist. He was one of the movement's most famous leaders. Son of early civil rights activist and preacher Martin Luther King Sr., King achieved civil rights for people of color in the United States through nonviolence and civil disobedience. He was an African-American church leader. He conducted targeted, peaceful opposition against Jim Crow laws and other kinds of discrimination, motivated by his Christian convictions and Mahatma Gandhi's nonviolent activity.
